Goodbye to the limits of creativity – the 10 most hated cars in the world – BMW, Nissan, Pontiac, and Tesla among them

Neither Honda nor Mazda – Toyota dominates in 2025 and consolidates its position as the world’s best-selling brand for this reason

No more blindly taking your car to the repair shop every time the warning light comes on—learning to read the Check Engine light changes the way you take care of your car in the United States

Ford is heading back to the shop, yes, once again… A new recall issued by the American company has left drivers cold. This time it affects only two of its most iconic models: the F-250 and F-350 Super Duty with the 6.7-liter Power Stroke diesel engine. The problem is much more serious than it seems, as there is a failure in the fuel return line that could lead to engine fires… Do you think how it could end if Ford doesn’t act? We don’t even want to imagine it…

The alert has been officially registered by the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) under number 25V-306. Those vehicles were manufactured on March 23 2025. It’s not a lot of information, but we’re talking about key vehicles for people who use them for work: farmers, emergency services, construction companies… Do you want to know more about this recall? Let’s go.

What’s going on with these Fords?

Apparently, the main issue lies in cracks found in the connectors of the fuel return line, especially in part LC3Q-9K022-AC, manufactured by Bosch Mexico Sistemas.

According to the recall, a misalignment in the tooling occurred during production, which causes the connectors to leak fuel very close to engine components… The result? It could be devastating… Fire!

There are, for this moment, only five vehicles confirmed with this defect we are talking about, and many others may still appear.

Which models are affected?

As we said before, there are only a very specific group of 2025 F-250 and F-350 Super Duty models with the 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 diesel engine. But the main problem we found is that Ford hasn’t detailed the specific cab versions or trims affected… Why? We still don’t know either…

We do know, as mentioned before, the affected models were produced on March 23, 2025. So you can’t rely on the vehicle’s external appearance, but the only way to know if your call is:

  • Check your VIN on Ford’s official website.
  • Call customer service: 1-866-436-7332.
  • Or you can wait for the letter that will be sent from May 19 to 23.

Why is this so important?

Because we’re not talking about just any vehicle. The Super Duty trucks are machines made for towing, hauling or working. It’s not unusual to see them on ranches, construction sites, or in rescue services. In their most powerful version, these beasts can deliver 500 horsepower and 1,200 lb-ft of torque… Wow.

If something fails in this kind of vehicle, the consequences can be very serious for those people who need them to work.

What can I do if own one of them?

Take it to your dealership or workshop, asap! It’s that simple. Ford has said the repair will be free of charge, so you don’t have to pay anything, they will replace the fuel return line and, according to them, it doesn’t take long.

But don’t wait for the letter if you’ve already noticed something strange: smell of diesel, a warning light on the dashboard, or a visible leak. Better safe than calling the fire department, don’t you think so?

In summary…

The failure isn’t massive this time, but it is delicate. Adding to the fact that Ford hasn’t specified exact details. Ford has acted quickly, but now it’s up to the owners to check if their truck is on the list.

And if it is, take action, please. Because the F-250 and F-350 are built to withstand anything… except a fuel leak near the hot engine block…

Do you have a 2025 Super Duty? Don’t take any chances: check your VIN and contact the shop if needed.
