There are products that survive the years, fashions and impossible promises… and they are still there, on the same shelf as always. One of those products is clearly the blue tin Nivea, it is one of them, surely just mentioning it brought its particular smell to your mind. Now everything is novelty, everything is revolution, everything is a social media campaign. But let’s be honest, there are some things that should never change, and one of those is this blue tin. It has never changed (that we remember), and it does not need social media campaigns. We all know it, we know how it works, it does not promise miracles, it moisturizes as it should and that’s it.

Several volunteers used the blue tin Nivea for two consecutive weeks with two applications a day. Obviously they measured the skin before and after, and compared areas without cream and with other creams.
The result was a change in the level of hydration, visible and measurable. So much so that the OCU awarded it 4 out of 5 stars in hydration.
Do dermatologists recommend it?
Yes, because this cream creates a protective barrier that prevents the skin from losing water, for those of us with dry skin it is wonderful. Careful, it is not an “anti-aging” cream, nor an advanced laboratory treatment. It is a moisturizer, just that.

Now everything has peptides, AHAs and similar things even if we do not know what each one is for, but it is clear that the classics never change. The blue tin Nivea has just the right ingredients to keep your skin soft and hydrated, and the best thing is that it has never had to change anything!

Who not for?
For oily or acne-prone skin it is not the best option because it is too dense.
Uses
Beyond the face, there are people who use it as a night mask in winter, as a lifesaver for cracked hands or even as a soothing product after sun exposure. For chafing, burns and even as a primer for makeup.
Be careful not to believe that this cream replaces medical or specific treatments.

It does not promise anything, it does not need campaigns, we know it works because we have tried it and we know that its function remains the same no matter how much time passes.
