The Quark was created especially for the Koenigsegg Gemera, an four-seats electric sports car. Koenigsegg’s head of electric motor design, Dragos-Mihai Postariu, explained that this engine allows a “brutal increase in power at the start”, followed by continuous and stable acceleration, thanks to the collaboration between the electric motor and the combustion motor.
